GRANT CRITERIA FOLLOWED BY THE DAY FOR CHANGE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Day for Change is committed to making a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in San Diego County. The Day for Change Board of Directors will review grant applications and determine if funding is appropriate based upon the following criteria:

• The organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit company;

• It is under-funded;

• It is well-founded;

• organization's charter is to serve abused and neglected children;

• The organization has proven success in making a difference in the child abuse and neglect arena;

• An interview and site visit will be conducted by the Board; and

• Financial statements will be reviewed as well as a review of past activities.
